Treating Shock
Shock is a condition that is caused by a lack of oxygen in the blood and tissue. When the body is deprived of oxygen, it will stop functioning on its normal levels and begin to shut down. Anyone that falls into a state of shock will need medical attention immediately, and any failure to offer the necessary treatment may be grounds for a medical malpractice lawsuit.

Signs of Shock
There are many potential causes of shock, so it is at times difficult to recognize the symptoms. If you or someone you love is in a situation where they may be susceptible to a lack of oxygen or has experienced a recent health problem, you may need to be aware of the signs of shock. These often include:
- Extreme fatigue
- Skin discoloration
- Rapid heart beat
- Fever
- Anxiety
This type of shock is physiological shock. If this physical form of shock is not treated right away, the patient may be at risk of internal organ failure.
